Check them in that order—an event record does not by itself prove delivery.\n\n ## Check contacts first\n\n Open **Account** and review the available recipients. The current hosting interface can provide email, phone and identifiers for supported messaging services. Follow the current page for bot names and instructions rather than an old note.*\n\n Never enter the account password, SIM PIN or a private tracking-link code in a contact field.\n\n ## Configure a map event\n\n Select a device and open the alarm settings panel. A selector change is saved immediately; there is no single Save button for the whole panel. Rectangular-zone geometry has its own save action in the map editor.*\n\n Change one parameter at a time and check it immediately. **Log** is useful for the first test because it confirms recognition without mixing in external delivery.\n\n The disconnection timeout controls how long the service waits for data before creating the event. An email or other channel row shows the corresponding notification attempt, but final delivery must still be checked at the recipient.*\n\n ## If the message did not arrive\n\n 1. Find the underlying event in the log.\n2. If it is absent, check the device data and condition: zone boundary, timeout or sensor value.\n3. If it exists, check the selected channel and contact.\n4. Check spam, blocks and the receiving application.\n5. Run one controlled retest after correcting the issue.\n\n Do not create several identical rules: this complicates diagnosis and can cause duplicate messages.
